Pseudolaguvia shawi

This little catfish was lurking in one of the coldwater tanks at work surrounded by White Cloud Mountain Minnows. Spotted him whilst fishing some out and went back to get him later. By the looks of him he is a type of hillstream catfish from Asia, that usually live in temperate waters.

Not hugely interesting if you don't like catfish, but not very common so i am glad to have it.

Well if its a catfish then its not a hillstream loach is it

I would like to edit my identification, it appears to actually be a "Pseudolaguvia shawi" seen here:

This fish hasnt been fully described or given a common name. I have been told to expect it to stay under 4".
