Ps3 Network

Hi all;
I'm just womdering why can't I sign in into the ps3 network... It needs to install an update, but when I try to install the update it says that I already have the latest version update or something like that,, and now I'm stuck and can't sign in, I also changed the password, but still the problem exists.

he is conning you there was no PSN on the 20th or 22nd of may. it didnt return, world wide, till the 31st may or the 1st June. though some did make a "get round" using their PC as a host.

My PS3 worked from mid may onwards absolutely fine, without some silly "get round"?

yeah, it worked off line. but we worked out a LAN link that allowed us to play MP games, all the way through the outage! whilst it may be a "silly get around", it still gave us MP play, something most other members of PSN (world wide) didn't have. as of the 31st of may all PSN functions were back. though, even now, you get errors when connecting with PSN store. tho only down side is Sony now try to abdicate responsibility for any information, they collect, regarding security. whilst its an ILLEGAL clause, in the EU (therefore not legally binding). for others through out the world, its valid. so take care when buying via PSN..

I was playing Portal 2 with my brother online, not via lan...?
