Dexter is my new blood parrot cichlid

a lovely red/orange color and about 2 inches long...

once he gets acclimated to his new home I will post a picture

can anyone recommend some good tankmates?

i have oscars & flowerhorns in with mine with no problems, but there in a 1000ltr

what size tank do you have them in ......mine are still SO shy!!! lol

I have them in a a 90G tank. Some of mine were shy for months and months and when they got use to me they were still shy in front of company... people always would ask what is in the tank because they would all be hiding lol... but now they are not shy around anyone.... they are always out and follow me where ever I go in front of the tank.

I have my BP with mollies but it is not recommended by everyone. Mine all get along fine because the blood parrots dont pay any notice to them.
