Hi all,

One of my male guppies has had this white thing on him for 3 days now. At first we thought it was a parasite and have treated the water for that but its showing no signs of budging. Could it be a prolapse?? He has been behaving normally otherwise.

Get a pea. Deshell it, bring a bit of water to boil on the stove, drop the pea in, boil for a couple of minutes. Drain the water, break the pea in half, just leave it a while until its cooked down, feed half, you may struggle to accomplish that in a community setting. There are ways around that issue though such as QT or a breeding trap. If that fails to work, then I don't know what you would try next.

Isn’t it a little high up for the vent? I’m going to let @Colin_T take this one as I’m just not sure.

Maybe a tumor, but I think this actually is a weird place for a tumor. Please do correct me if I'm wrong..
