A plea:

I am a really nosey person and love nothing better than visiting people's profiles and having a read - but many are rather lacking I know, I didn't really think of putting much on mine until the other day!

How about we have an Update your profile weekend? Maybe it would help foster an even better community spirit for those who want to take part

There is a pinned thread in the Beginners area and, (gulp), the mods have a section up as well. I always find it helpful if someone at least puts the town or country under their avatar so that you have an idea of which locale you will be responding to.

Funny..it used to be there. I'm glad u brought that up. During the forum upgrade it must have been removed. To be repaired. SH

Interesting. My location IS there. Members locations used to be located under their avatar. That seems to have been changed with the new skin or upgrade. My location is available under my profile. Too bad. You used to be able to see someone's location under their avatar. I will change skins and see what happens. SH

I will bring this up in the mods forum but before the upgrade, a member's location showed under their avatar. It's gone now but needs to be back. I agree that it's helpful when replying. A lot of products, whether it be tanks, filters, medications, etc. are only available in certain parts of the world so it help to know where someone is even if you just know that their in the US or UK, that tells you most of what you need to know. It's much easier to just look under their avatar on the thread than having to click their profile and check.

Oh yes, you are right - does changing skins sort out the problem, although I like the good old one
