Problem

So today i am supposed to pick up some LR for my tank, issue is, my gravity is at 1.027 instead of a 1.024 (where i want it to be) i need to drop down that low by about 2pm my time so in like 4 hours. is this possible? how can i drop it that fast?

If I remember correctly, you currently have nothing in the tank correct?
If you don't, it's easy. If you have room to add freshwater to the tank, than do that. Otherwise, remove saltwater and add freshwater until it's at the level that you want.

Will the result be right away after i add the fresh water?

I would wait a few minutes so that it has a chance to mix together properly, and then re-test.

yep i fill mine into an 18 gallon cooler then i take the water upstairs from the cooler. it take like 4 hours to fill that up lol

It helps to run a powerhead in the tank while mixing. SH
