Problem With Go To Last Unread Function

Hi,

Wasn't sure where to post this, so just guessed.


I've noticed that when I look on the forums, the little flag to the left of a thread to take you direct to the last unread post is still present, even if there have been no new posts since the last time I vistied a thread.


Its a bit annoying, as I end up opening a number of threads to see what has been posted - only to find nothing new.


Can anyone fix it?

Are you using the "Back" button on your browser or clicking on the forum/subforum name next to the triangle at the top of the screen (above the 1st post)?

Because if you are using the back button, you'll still get the orange buttons even if you've read the thread. The back button uses old information.

Actually, this carried over from day to day.

For instance, this thread is still showing as "has new posts"

It seems to be working fine for me. This morning, after I saw your post from yesterday morning, I clicked the link to mark all forums as read. When I clecked again just now, all I got were posts since since this morning. It cold have something to do with cookies. You may want t delete all cookies and also click the link to mark everything as read and see if they go away.

This is happening on my home PC running Firefox 3, and also my work's laptop with IE7
