I have got 2 Peppered Corydoras that use to be in a tank with a Male Siamese Fighter, but the Siamese Fighter attacked one of the Corydoras and it looked dead, but was still breathing so i put in the breeding kit that i've got to try and save him. A week later he picked up and was back to normal so i let him go in my 3ft tank and dueing this time i had put my other Corydora in the 3ft tank.

That was 2 weeks ago, but now the corydora that got attacked is not swimming alot and when he does fish he swims on his side then ends up fishing upside down. Then the next minute he is swimming the right way.

Does anyone know what is wrong with the corydora, because it looks like its lost his balance after he got attacked.

Thanks.

Cories prefer to be in groups of 3 or more... otherwise they're just generally stressed out and timid. Putting it in alone could be part of the problem... or what triggered the problem to get worse. It sounds like it's having swim bladder problems but I couldn't tell you what the definite cause would be.

Hi darkside_is_here :)

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

It does sound like swim bladder disease. This can happen as a result of an injury to a fish. There's not a lot you can do at this point. It might or might not heal by itself.

Good luck and I hope he gets better.
