I've received my bettas from Yeevia yesterday..

I have a question regarding one of the females. I noticed today (I wasnt really looking yesterday since she was mostly hiding), that she has some white lines on her, looks like loss of color behind her gills on her sides.

Here is a pic I managed to take:

is it natural or some kind of fungus? I pointed out the whites I noticed.

She's eating, and swimming, Im just concerned that maybe she had gotten too stressed out. I have her still alone in the 10 gal tank since my male is being treated for ich. She looks like she got abit of ich herself now. :(

Yeevia, if you are reading this, were those lines always there? Like I said, she was mostly hiding, I didnt get to get a good look at her.

The origional picture shows her displaying stress-stripes, probably from transport.
The picture you are worried about looks like breeding stripes, and this is perfectly normal.
What do you mean "let's hope they don't breed?" You don't have her in with a male, do you

they're divided. one day I may want them to breed, but Im not totally prepared right now, lol. if things happens and they do somehow breed (with dividers), I can rush around making room in the basement for that.

so she's ok? nothing to panic about? other than them breeding? lol
