Probiotics

Okay, so I treated my platys for worms with Praziquantel & metronidazole. Now that the treatment is over does anyone recommend administering Dr. Tim’s probiotic solution to restore a normal biome to the fish’s’ intestinal tract? Antibiotics do a number to normal healthy gut flora.

That's a good question. I haven't researched probiotics for fish. I think I've seen fish develop severe intestinal blockages after antibiotic use, but where I couldn't be 100% sure it wasn't the original disease being resistant and spreading. So I'm left simply wondering. If the fish were treated in QT and go back into a community, they'll probably feed on wastes and recharge pretty fast.
Without QT, if all the fish were dosed, I'd feed cautiously for a couple of weeks because I would expect a stripped gut.
