This is probably a stupid question, but given my obsessive compulsive disorder, and the fact I've managed to get my tank water better quality (a lot better) through hard work, I don't really want to risk not asking...
I have a cold, and today, when I was removing some dead parts of an otherwise perfectly okay plant (don't want to waste plants if they still have life left in them), it flicked past my face. It probably touched my nose. My nose isn't dripping or anything, but given that I've blown it, etc... I'm now worrying that, by putting the plant back in the tank, I'm contaminating the water and going to give the fish some disease or virus... I put the plant back in, of course, telling myself I'm going overboard in my worrying, and it'd also be a waste of a plant (need more plants soon, but also don't wish to deprive the fish of anything).
Am I just being silly? Was it okay to put the plant back in? Or have I just doomed all my fish?
