Does anyone have any of these? I've never heard anyone talk about them, nor seen them on aquabid or anything. They're speedy and adorable little guys, and in my opinion, are the prettiest of the tetras. Does anyone else have experience with them?

I've also heard them refered to as x-ray tetras, but x-rays look quite different.

I have 6 in my 55 gallon and I think they are beautiful. Their colors have really started to come out and when the light hits them right they sparkle like a diamond. I am thinking about getting a few more since I have so much room in the 55 right now. (I evicted my tiger barbs and gave them their own tank.)

I have 4 in a 20 gallon community. Great fish because they're pretty hardy for smaller tetras, plus they have nice markings for see-through fish. Three are regular pristellas and one is the "gold" variety which is more transparent. Apparently they are fairly easy to breed, which is another plus. I used 2 to cycle my tank, and they're still alive today even after other fish introduced ick and bacteria problems.

search fish photos forum for some pics, should be in there somewhere

/highly recommend pristellas if you like 'em

I LOVE my little guys, they're just gorgeous when they're healthy. I highly recommend them.

Here is one of mine.

i got 10 of them.

But they are called glow light tetras over here. well at least that's the name they had in my lfs.
Glowlights and Pristellas are different fish.

Here is a picture of a glowlight:

They are both gorgeous though.

I have 2 and love them. I'm going to get 4 more when I ever get my tanks worked out. I originally wanted rasboras and the lfs only had the pristellas (I wanted schooling fish) and I wasn't happy about taking them but had to since my tank was ready for fish. But now I'm glad. I had to put the two in my big tank after my 10g leaked and it's so cute-they school with my 3 albino cories. The cories just swim back and forth and back and forth and the pristella tetras just keep right up with them.
