Pretty Spiders In My Garden

since its coming into summer, spiders have started to multiply so i thought i would take some photos of some in my backyard. if you dont like spiders then look anyway because even my Mum thought these were pretty

this one has made its web on the table outside. surprisingly he is only about half an inch long! garden spider of some sort.

this is a little jumping spider that i found on our lemon tree. only a few millimetres in length. very cute.

i found this one on the same lemon tree. he is even smaller than the jumping spider! probably a crab spider of some sort.

this is a different type of jumping spider i found climbing up the wall on the outside of our house. just over a quarter of an inch long.

he was threatening to jump on the camera in this pic

this one was just over half an inch long. not exactly sure what it is. he jumps though! he lives on our recycling bin.

just after i took this one, he jumped at me. you can see him staring right into the camera. and look at those fangs!!

Look at the eyes on the wee beggers. thats cool. I admire spiders, but they still make me squirm.

yeah i love jumping spiders. although when you are trying to take close up pics of them they turn towards you and face right into the camera and you have to be quick to take the shot so they dont decide to jump on the camera and attack it . these ones are harmless so it wouldnt matter if i got one on me anyway. i dont know about the spider in the last three pictures though, its got massive fangs compared to the size of its body. if anyone knows exactly what species he is then please tell me

eww.. i hate spiders.. but those are pretty cool pics.. and dispite my hatred for our eight legged co-inhabitants the 5th pic down is really cool.. love the eyes!!
