My Guppy is becoming fatter and has a black making around he anal fin and underneath. is she prgnant or not if not then what is it.

Sounds preggers to me!

The black mark is called the Gravid Spot and becomes more visable as the pregancy moves on.

Better get ready for some new arrivals! And congrats!

Cool will i need a breeding trap?

Some people say breeding traps stress out the inhabitants.
Another tank is probably advisable, but this is obiviously harder for some people.

Have a read of the posts in the livebearers section, they will be better able to advise you.

I have 5 female guppies all pregnant, and 1 of them blessed me with 2 fry yesterday there may have been more, but she had them through the night, so some could have been eaten, anyway the fry are now safe in a breeding net, but the females remain swimming freely in the tank... the guppy that had these fry, is still huge, so i reckon more babies from her, still to come here is a picture of her....

If you don't want to do the breeding net you can give the fry plenty of places to hide. They like floating plants or any leafy plants really.Most LFS also sell breeding grass that the fry can hide in. I also have a decoration in my guppy tank that only the fry can get in and they stay safe there. Or what I did before I got the decoration was dig out a little gravel below another decroation, enough for just the fry to squeeze through & they hid under there until they were large enough not to be eaten.
