Pregnant White Molly

Hi

I am just wondering does the gravid spot on a fish remain for a while after a fish has given birth? My white molly looks a lot thinner this morning but the gravid spot is still present. Can't see any fry in tank.

Any advise would be appreciated (only had pregnant black mollies previously and the gravid spot is never obvious on these).

yes it does stay but the one that the my guppy had after the birth was not as dark....
