Fish Fanatic
Hi, i have 11 tiger barbs (9 adults and 2 token tiny ones thrown in by the guy at the fish shop) in my 30G. One of them has looked very very plump for about the week ive had her (looks just like the bottom picture http/images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...l%3Den%26sa%3DN ) and 2 more have since started to look plump.
There all eating, swimming and excreting fine so can only think its maybe them being pregnant.
A ) is this likely, do they get breed this easily?
B ) What shall i do if they are, any special moss or something that should be in the tank for the eggs to scatter into or do they glue eggs to plants?
Many thanks
PS, additional info, The tanks 27C, lots of plants and bogwood and ive witnessed what i believe to be mating behaviour (fish circling each other, mates sitting vertal in the water near the bottom, nose down, displaying all there fins by moving them rapidly ect)
