I’m out of town at the moment and have a friend taking care of my fish, my female silver Molly was normal size when I left and now she is huge. Not sure if it’s just pregnancy or something else. Any help would be appreciated.

She does look pregnant. But if it happened in a sudden, it might be bloat instead.
From the sounds of it, it was gradual. I’ve been out of town for just over 2 weeks and she was slim when I left. The rest of the tank are normal.

Looks definitely bloated to me.

What would you recommend doing?
I don’t know. I’ve never had much success with bloated fish. Seems it’s usually (always?) too late by the time they get this bad.
That’s if I’m right of course. It looks way too fat sideways(?) to not be bloated.

Tell the friend to stop feeding the fish. Most overfeed, fish can go weeks without food since they take their body temp from the water, and mollies are particularly greedy fish. Tell the friend not to feed for at least four days in a row, then see how the female molly is looking
