Pregnant Guppy

WE have what we believe to be a pregnant guppy - my husband thinks we should put her in the spare (uncycled) tank, I think we should leave her where she is and let nature take its course . I believe she was pregnant when we bought her so we haven't had time to cycle the spare tank.

Opinions? I realise that we may lose some fry to the other fish if she's left in the stable tank, but feel that the stress of moving her would make it a waste of time anyway.

Hi there,

I bought a breeding net for $7. It clips onto the inside of your tank so you can separate fish, but still have them in the tank....

I would leave her in the tank less stress on her, let the fry take there chances, if you have plenty of hiding spaces and plants alot of them will survive, good luck.
