i'm so confused and don't know what to do!when i game home from school today, i saw 2 baby guppies, so i quickly save them into the breeding tank, i also put in the "thought-to-be" mother just incase she might be giving some more birth. But later when i checked, there's a new baby guppy sitting on one of my plants!so i'm not sure if the fish that's in the breeding tank pregnant or not!but the other female fish outside the breeding tank does not have a black gravid spot, its only a pink gravid spot......i also read on some sites that said pink gravid spot is close to labouring, but other websites said its black when they are close to giving birth.....so i'm now confuse.....black or pink?

The one's I've seen are black.
Other than that, when a female is close to giving birth, her underbelly is so huge and squared, that it's hard to miss. If the two are huge, then take both out to the breeding tank, just to be sure.

was many years ago since i watched a guppy give birth, but if u look real close you can usually see the eyes of the fry inside the mother as she is dropping them, also if u have 2 females, and one starts to drop the hormones in the water trigger the other mother to give birth, ive seen that..

Cheers!!!
Remember to safeguard the fry. Mummy will eat them otherwise :/
