hey, my bro has a couple pregnant glow lite tetras, im pretty sure they lay eggs but im not sure where they will lay them or how the fry will do. do they eat their own eggs or young? where will i expect them to lay their eggs?

Glowlights scatter eggs without much care usually over plants, feathery if available. The eggs are externally fertilised by the male as the female lay them. In suitable conditions, the eggs hatch in about 24 hours and the fry become free swimming typically after about 5 days, although that can vary quite a bit.

If the parents are not removed, they will eat all the eggs they can find, and the fry once they are apparent.
