Ok, so, I have these shrimp which I was told were amano hybrids, but through posts with other members and having a look, they have a different head shape...
Regardless of what they are (not my main concern as they are healthy and that's all that matters), my female is pregnant again.
I noticed her acting strangely and when I took a closer look she's egg laden again Now, from her last "batch" I found 6 babies. I'm guessing the others go eaten by fish. Now, I have 2 fluffy tall plants, moss balls (marimo style and some I have made by sticking xmass moss to ceramic rings), and a coconut house covered in moss (a lot of moss), but I don't know what else to do to ensure more survive. I daren't move her to another tank, as I've read they drop the eggs when startled, so I don't know what else to do. I've heard that shells can be a good hidey hole for babies, but I also read that shells can alter the pH of the water, and I don't want that.
Any suggestions? (apart from get another tank for my fish lol)
