so today i discovered my 1 cleaner shrimps stomach is like a neon green color and if you look close enough you see tons of little circles like eggs. ive been reading around it seems it is in fact pregnant. but the chances of raising them seems like rediculously hard.

Yeah I think the majority of the shrimp that are commonly kept will all carry eggs (i have seen my peppermint shrimp carrying eggs) but they are incredibly difficult to raise.

They take sooo long to grow. My LFS raised some cleaners and they are still tiny months and months on

yeah i noticed one of them has the neon green with eggs and the other has like 50+ eggs under his stomach right now...i guess they will just become fish food

I have 2 skunk cleaners and both produce eggs on a regular basis. The green eggs mature, hatch and the little shrimp can be seen holding onto the parent. Sadly, 'she' tries to keep them there, but they start swimming away to the great pleasure of the clownfish which follow along having a feed. I have not tried to catch and raise any, but have read that it can be done. It takes considerable time.
