Ok, so I have two pregnant females in my tank one is a red-tailed assorted guppy, and the other is a gambusia/mosquitofish.
I first had the mosquito fish in my other tank and she gave birth to only two babys one got eaten and the other I saved, I finally caught her and put her in my other tank where I kept other female and male mosquitofish once I put her in I saw two males immediately pair with her she has not lost any weight from the beginning of her pregnancy but she has not given birth to any more babies but she is so big. so what's going on?
Second I have not seen them pair up once but I have one male and one female guppy the female has gained weight since she has been in there I have seen her chase him till he stops and she turns around and backs up next to him, she has a big stomach and a big peachy gravid spot I'm pretty sure she's pregnant by how her stomach is so can I get help?
Plus they have both been pregnant for at least 5 weeks probably more but it's been happening for so long now I lost count can someone please help?

Usually the gestation period of a female guppy will be around 4 weeks. But if she's not feeling comfortable enough, she can hold on to it and postpone the delivery. And it's not weird if she will drop those fry after 6-7 weeks of pregnancy. And if she's not urged to drop fry, she can even internally absorb them which won't hurt her. Same goes for the female mosquito fish.

Try a couple of times a small water change in a short period of time. That may induce... But as I've already have mentioned, if she's not comfortable enough, she can hold on to those fry.
