I just added a Porucpine Puffer to my aqarium, and it has been sucked up by my powerhead intake several times now. Luckily I have been close by to turn off the powerhead so he can swim free. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Should I just remove the powerhead?

Wrap a sponge around the powerhead intake. Also Porcupine Puffers are normally very strong fish; is he diseased, or underfed?

Have to admit, that was my thought too, a healthy puffer will be able to swim away from a powerhead.

The sponge is a good idea, but every time he gets pulled in it will stress him out more

I do not think he is diseased or underfed, but was just added to the tank yesterday...
