What is a good powerhead to buy for my 40 gallon?

What type of filter are you currently using on the tank? What type of fish are you keeping? You can buy powerheads with different levels of output so what type of action are you looking for? Heavy current, light current, surface movement?

I'm getting the Emperor 400 filter. It will be a community tank with some Rasboras, Danios, Tetras, Corys and Ottos. The designs of different brands are different so I wasn't sure if maybe one was any better than another. Also my tank is 24 inches(70 cm) high if that would make a difference.
