I have a 120 x 50 x 70 planted aquarium. I would like to increase the circulation within the tank to try to distribute the Co2 better and to also eliminate any 'dead' spots.
To give you an idea of my setup: Currently, I only have the spraybar from my Eheim 3e 450 across the back of the tank, just below the water surface. The filters inlet is approx 2/3 down in the far right corner. My Dennerle Co2 ladder is on the far left corner.
I am thinking of installing a Hydor Koralia Nano powerhead next to the Co2 ladder, pointing diagonally downwards to the center of the tank, hopefully 'pushing' the Co2 around the tank.
But which Koralia would I need? to 900 says it's for tanks up to 100l and the 1600 up to 180l. My tank is 2-3 times this capacity but I don't want to create a torrent! Just a bit more movement will do.
Does anyone here have any experience with the Koralias or can anyone advise me on what I should get and where it should go?
Thanks in advance.
