Powerheads For My Tank

my tank is 48x15x12 and today im gonna get all the accessory's then next week my live rock and protein skimmer but i was wondering how many powerheads i will need and how powerfull for my size tank as im gonna just use the live rock as my main filter and want a good flow so there is no dead spots

You will need IMO about 3000lph turnover

I personally would achive this with Seios but they do pack a punch & it may be better to go for Maxijets

2 Powerheads would defo be a better than 1 as you can place them at different levels & sides of teh tank therefore ensuring you dont have any dead spots

IF so, you can use a large return pump and split up the return to help circ also.
