Hi I want to use a power head to create ome currnet on bottom of tank but when i turned it on the second ADF was sucked into it. how do i keep this from not happening again? I thought I saw somewhere where you can ajust it to not harm any fish or aquatic animals. The directions do not say anything . I f anyone could Please help with this.

i have never understood why people use powerheads surely its better to use a internal filter then you get the added bonus of more filteration and you wont need to worrie about it sucking in your fish

Hi, I agree with previous poster. Meanwhile if your intake is a tube then pull the end cage off and push some filter media over the end. In my smaller fry tank (see signiture) I have a trickle filter in the hood. I got a cylinder shaped piece of foam and cut out a hole half way through in the middle and pushed it over the end of the take up tube. Works a treat!
