Hi!

I recently put myself up to buy a new powerhead. I have a [background=rgb(252, 252, 252)]300L tank with 4 cory cats, 1 Angelfish, 2 clownloaches, and one Bristlenose Pleco,[/background] and a ton of plants, and one piece of large wood.

I heard that the size of the powerhead should be 10x the volume of the tank/hour. In my case, that would be 3000L/H.

However, I thought about getting a slightly bigger powerhead with optional flow directional attachements, so I could direct one to the surface and keep one pointed at the sand, so the poop would blow away.

I thought about getting a 6000L/H one, 20x the volume/hour, twice the recommended size.

My question is: Is this powehead too big?

Thanks a ton!
