Power Head For Pond?

I bought a power-head for my fish tank but it turns out that is way to powerful, so I was thinking

instead of returning the power-head I can use it for my pond. its actually better than the one I'm using right now its almost 100 gph more

is there a problem using the power-head for the pond ?? a power-head is a pump to.

It certainly is another form of pump. If it has the discharge pressure needed in your application and can be connected to whatever it needs to drive, it would be worth a try.
