Potential Marine newbie

I'm possibly getting a Juwel Vision 180, which I might put as marine. I know I need to get live rock and a skimmer. However, quick question - do I have to use RO water?

Hi Sarah

Using RO from the beginning really is (IMO) the best & Only way to go.

I will help cut down on the algea bloom - althought you will still get one , just not as bad as if U used tap water
