I've just noticed one of my goldfish seems to be having buoyancy problems, if she stops swimming for even a fraction of a second she end up halfway to the top of the tank. I've heard some things about swimbladder and that was my first thought, but I've had no practical experience of it. She's fairly new to the tank, having only been in about 3 weeks but so far (apart from a very brief spell of bullying from a bigger fish) she's seemed happy as larry.

Does this sound like swim bladder, and if so is there anything I can do to cure it?

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Swim bladder, bad water quality, unstable temp, to bad diet.
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers and add to the tank.
Goldifsh need a good varied diet of frozen foods and veg.
Frozen daphnia is very good for digesting the fish food.

Apologies, think it was a false alarm. She was definately very buoyant last night but this morning everything seems normal. I noticed it not long after feeding so perhaps she took some air down as well.

I'll start adding greens to their current diet of flake and dried bloodworm. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly and sorry for the false alarm.
