Hello,
Does anyone have experience with prolapse? Is this a prolapse? What can I do to help? Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

The first picture looks like its intestine is sticking out its butt. The 2nd and 3rd pics look like eggs. However, the fish doesn't look that big so eggs are less likely.

Normally the intestine goes back in by itself. If it hasn't gone back in after 24 hours, you can carefully catch the fish and keep it in the water. Gently run your finger along the belly a couple of times and then let the fish swim off. The stimulation of your finger gently running across the intestine can help it go back in. But this needs to be done very gently because you can hurt or even kill the fish if you squish its intestine.

Thank you! Yes I didn’t think they were eggs I read that chichlids hold eggs in their mouths once laid? But I was hopeful that it was eggs rather then it beings prolapse
I will give it a day and see if it self corrects... if that doesn’t work then I will try your recommendation thank you for getting back to me so quickly!

If they are eggs, then something has gone wrong because they shouldn't stick to the fish.
