Possible ich problem with fry

I've got about 18 fry living in a half filled five gal tank and all is well. While doing the usual daily clean I spotted one of the fry flicking against things! How very odd.

My question:

Can i medicate the tank with the fry in it?

None of the other fry seem to be having this problem.

You could try putting some salt in there

I had to medicate my bunch at about 4 weeks due to one of them having a fuzzy fin. I put melafix in there at normal strength and salt and it cleared up without any harm to the fry.

I assume your temp is at least 80 for these guys anyway but perhaps raising it to 82 if you think there is whitespot in there wouldn't hurt and adding an extra airstone too if you add any meds.

aznmidnite it was a pectoral fin and it was well fuzzy, but with salt and melafix and their usual daily 50% water changes it went right away

Bettaboi it should give you the amount on the packet. I don't have one at this time so can't help you out there
