i recently put 19 galaxy rasboras in there own 15g breeding tank with a huge clump of java moss, and tonight i noticed some kind of eggs in the jave moss,to be honest they look like tiny frog spawn with a wee white coloured dot in the middle.is this a galaxy spawn?or could it be a thredfin rainbow egg as there is a few of in the tank aswell untill there own tank in cyclyed.

can any 1 suggest what fish spawned?

thanks ryan

If the egg is stuck to the java moss, it's not a galaxy egg, as these will generally fall through the java moss, they do NOT stick to anything. Chances are it'll get eaten if left with other fish and even the parents will eat them. However, if it does turn out to be a galaxy egg, it will be tiny (1mm ) the fry, when hatched will most likely stick itself the the tank side and look like a little fish stick for a couple of days hten once free swimming will stay near the surface.
I'd recommend getting some liquifry #1 and start adding a few drops every day, at least until you know what the fry is as this will build up a decent supply of food for the very tiny baby.
Hope that helps
K
