Hey guys me again this might sound like a bit of a silly question but is it ok for a heater to be fully under the water including the top which has the knob etc on it? ![crazy  ](/images/smilies/ipb/crazy.gif)

I was under the assumption that you were not suppose to go above the water line?FISHAREFUN said:Hold off. Some heaters are submersible and some are not. If your's is not submersible, there should be a water line somewhere on the element. Make sure the water goes up at least to the line. These are not meant to be completely submersed in the water. On the other hand, if it is a submersible (should say on box or in instructions) then it can be completely submerged (knob and all).
