Porn Link As Members Home Page

i'm very nosey and used to be an admin on a chat site so when i see a new member pop up in the latest members bit i go have a look at their profile , i did it to one new member and there is a link to a porn site as there home page i cant find a place to report a profile
is there one or are people allowed links to porn site in their profiles ??

yeah there's a problem with someone spamming at the moment, if you spot one then have a look which mods are on-line and send a pm to them with the users name and they'll remove it.

no mods visibly on line so i have just reported the posts

There is so much of it and the trouble is if they finda site that hasn't been hit much in the past it will get blasted by lots of new users posting just the one post it happened on the chat sites i was admin on .
one month we were bombarded a few every 10 mins it was ridiculous

aye i know, personally i'm of the opinion that we need more mods active in the daytime, fairly often there's no one on to deal with this stuff.

no i don't think there is one but agree there should be.
i'd just suggest you post up the member names here and then report the topic so a mod will see it. don't know though tbh.

Yeah I've found some of those lately as well. And I also relized there was no report button for profiles, I too was confused on how to report someone who had yet to post. So I just PM a mod that is on an notify them about the profile. If none are on I bookmark the profile and shoot the next mod I see a message.

what we should do is open a new topic and put all these sickos on it so if no mods are on at least people with young children will know what to look ot for. also when a mod comes on they can exteranate them

Trying to do our best at the moment with the influx of this type of spam, currently looking at ways to eradicate it completely. Dont know the reason for the current spate, but rest assured we are looking into it and are on the case. Pleas report at the earliest possible moment please so as we can amass an information base and look for a common link.

i know the reason- horny men!! (joke) yeah i reported one earlier. we just all have to report them asap and not wait for someone else.

also as a side note to Big C's post if you are nosing around and find a member has a site don't forget that the mods also have PM accounts and you can always PM a mod the name of said member or a link to the profile in question and we can edit it out of the profile.

I am a Realtor and work from home most of the time. I am almost always online unless I'm out showing homes (which with the current market, isn't very often). PM me anytime, even if I'm not showing as online. Also, some of the mods may be online but invisible (we're sneaky like that) so just because you don't see a mod online, doesn't mean there's not one here. Just PM all of us and almost assuredly someone will respond.
