Popeye

Hi, One of my fish has what i would think was popeye.well... i dont know but seeing he looks a bit like this then i'm just making an assumption!

I read somewhere on the net that this could be caused by an airstone over oxygenating the water, is this true? any of you guys ever had to treat popeye?

I have never heard of pop eye being caused by over oxygenating. I have never even heard of over oxygenating, usually its more of a problem of having too little oxygen. Pop eye can be caused by diseases so that is what I would assume it is. Sometimes septicemia can cause it but I don't know all that much about fish diseases. If I were you I would check the web or find a good fish book that can give you the symptoms of fish sicknesses.
