"popendetta furcata"

I saw some of these today and can't find any info on them at all!
they were about 1.5", slightly transparent, long and slim with bright yellow tipped fins and tail. does anyone know what they are? The guy at the LFS said they were a type of small rainbowfish and don't need to be kept in shoals but I thought I'd seek a second opinion on them. thanks.

The correct spelling appears to be Popondetta, not popendetta which is why you got nothing on a search.
