pop eye

Well, my goldfish had popeye for a few weeks when I discovered this forum and learned about what popeye was and how I needed to get medication for the fish.

Well , I went the the place and I got some popeye meds. THEY DON'T WORK!!!!!!!! I have been treating the fish for the past 3 DAYS and my fish still has that huge bulging eye.

So, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I FEEL LIKE A TOTAL DOOF!!!! WHAT IF I CAN'T CURE MY FISH?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

shh! calm yourself down there! meds take uite a while to work, often over a week before you can see improvements, but they will put the spiraling breakdown on hold while they cure him.

but, if he does start spinning around like he's lost all control of his body or fins, do the kind thing and euthanise him. i had to do it to my first and favourite Betta two weeks back, and i'm glad to poor boy didn't have to suffer through the end pain that Pop-Eye can do.

Alright. I shall take your word for it and shall continue treating this goldfish. *sigh* My aquarium goes through the worst.
