i have a orange oranga and hes special because hes lost an eye.Its really noticeable cos he had really big eyes.Now he gets these lumps under his scales.When i have a closer look at it it seems like they are small pebbles under his scales .He gets these nearly every month.Does anyone know what these are.I dont think there parasites or worms because they dont move.Anyone got any advice or how to cure these? :crazy:

Do you have the ability of taking a photograph or two? That would help here. I really hope that you can get some help with him. What other tank mates does he have and what size tank.
Male goldfish will get "pimples" when in breeding form. Can this be what you are seeing?

ALASKA

My black moor has white dots on his gill and that isnt what my orangas got.They kinda like spots that humans get.lol.When they appear his scale on his side bubbles up.When i take him out to have a look its like a cyst sort of thing and when you press the scale a small pebble like thing comes out.Its just it seems a bit nasty of me having to get him out and clean it every so often because it bugs him and makes him roll on the gravel. :(

oh yea forgot.My tanks a 70gallon and theres;
1 black moor
1 orange oranga
3 goldfish
2 shubunkins
2 lionheads
1 white oranga
2 weather loaches
2 fancy goldfish
1 blue orfe

I know it sounds a lot in that size tank but we are getting rid of 2 of the goldfish and 2 shubunkins soon.

Can you get any pics it sounds like it could be a free swimming parasite that may have attached itself, are these growths/parasites etc always there or do they appear and disappear and so on...............?

they appear at least once every month.And they are just like a human spot.lol.It sounds really sick but they look like a spot and when u push the scale yellow stuff comes out then a little soney looking thing pops out.I dont Know if its like dirt hes got trapped or a re-occuring cyst i dont know.My fish have had little parasites on their tails before and we've started to wounder if these pebble looking things are eggs under the fishes scales.I cant reall take any photos at the moment because my cameras a bit screwed up but ill try get some photos done of it.
