Poorly Betta

Im pretty sure that my betta has got dropsy. He doesnt look that sick and he's still eating, which im sure is a good sign. His belly has been fat for a couple of days now.I wondered how much any medicine to fix him would be (i live in UK) and if its any point using it because i have read that most the time medicine doesnt work. Thanks for any help!

Try to use something like OCTOZIN, but there's a slim chance it will work

You could try some medicated food. Usually when you actually see the bloating happen with dropsy it's already too late.

i decided not to treat him, which could sound mean, but i thought it was best that i let nature take its course, and his belly isnt fat anymore, no scales are sticking up either. i think its weird, or maybe it wasnt dropsy and it was something else??
