Boo hoo.

My poor little Red Wag Tailed Platy has gone to the big aquarium in the sky

Passed away this afternoon while I was out doing some shopping!!

Tank has been up and running for about a week with fish in it and I am quite surprised at this fatality as I thought all was going well.

I don't actually think it was anything to so with the pollution levels as I have been testing these and they all seem fine and I only did a 30% water change 2-3 days ago. I think the little platy may have starved, I think this because this particular little begger doesn't seem to have been eating as much as the other platy and my 4 danios so I think it may be that.

Anyway, I have done another 30% water change today to keep everything down and we will see how the next week goes before adding anymore fish. Think I am going to get another couple of platys to keep the one remaining platy company an maybe a pair of dwarf gouramis or cherry barbs although I am not exactly sure yet??

I say add the cory...errr cories, if I calculate right you have a 15 US gal. tank (3.8 liters/gal) I would add a school of three cories, I like peppered but if you like both albino and peppered, they should school together, and they'll be fun to watch interact with each other in a group rather then just a single cory (a single will be more timid and not move around as much)
