Poor catfish

So… my sister HAD an amazing tank.
the neighbour has been feeding the fish.
they have over fed them. The filter has clogged.

I managed to save a few fish. Most died.
This is one I saved. Is there hope for him?

There's hope...
I assume you've unclogged the filter and donne a serious water change.
Then check your water parameters and, if necessary, do another water change.
(Don't for the water conditioner ).

Don't feed the fish for at least a day or two.

Are those white spots on the plec?
What's the temperature?
What other fish are in there with him?
What size is the tank?
Water parameters?

just do a big water change and gravel clean every day for a week

there was no hope for the tank.
he is in a very small tank now (54l) too small for him …. But like I said, he is the lone survivor… (the other 4 I have given away)
It’s only for a day or two that he will be In This tank.
Will he survive with these injuries. I’m mainly worried about his side fin which is sliced….

So I have taken him from his tank to my house. He is in a 54litre tank on his own now for a couple of days until my sister comes home from her holiday. He has eaten and moved. I’ll keep an eye on him
