poop-nado 2nd time :(

this morning (4 hours ago) i cleaned my filter.
i put it in the tank and turned it on, and there were many particles after 4 hours still
this happened last time, is there just too much poop and i have to do a water change?

What filter is it and how did you clean the filter?

Also if it’s an external filter, are the pipes to and from filter dirty?

If you changed water you probably dislodged crud inside the tank too, on cleaning day I find it usually takes several hours at least for everything to clear up. I just tell myself all the gunk that gets thrown out in the old water is that much less gunk in the system.
