Poop Eating Silver Dollars

OK so I bought 1 male and 2 female red Swordtails last week and they've been tearing up the algae in my tank. I have 6 Silver Dollars in here too and they were big chickens at first. They hid from the Swordtails for a couple days. Now today I noticed they are chasing the Swordtails around trying to eat their algae filled poop!! No kidding!

The Swordtails could be more amused at this....in fact they're getting downright annoyed in their new home.....and so am I.

This wasn't supposed to happen, these fish were supposed to get along!

Its just so odd....I've never seen fish go after other fish's poop before...and when they catch it...they consume it!!

Anyone else's Silver Dollars do this stuff?

Ya got that right!

They've calmed down somewhat today. Seeings how they're not predatory fish and don't get as much thrill out of a "chase", I expect them to just give up on it. The Swordies are now learning to just move away when they see that "look" in a slowly approaching Silver Dollar's eyes.
