pooooofy red eye

got 4 tiger barbs yesterday, lost 2 so far, one in my tank has a really realy inflamed eye, i mean its like a puffed out red ring around his eye, i noticed that one of the other dead guys has an eye missing, it must have popped.....
what is this and how can i treat it?!?!!
