Pond

My Dad wants to start a pond in his back yard. He has cemmented the old pond he had and there are no leaks, but he asked for some advice on what he needs to do to put fish (probably Koi) in it. Any good books, websites, or plain advice I can give him?

at my lfs there are some free leaflets on starting a pond i don't know how informative they are but it might be worth a look.,

Thanks! I hadn't seen the link to the ponds since I usually only read the tropical fish!
