pond stocking

i have a 50 gallon pond i have bristlenose in ther and some other random fish i was thinking of getting goldfish. i live in brisbane do you guys recomened goldfish or something else.

Need a bigger pond for goldfish and you don't want to mix goldfish with bristlenose or other fishes because goldfish are dirty messy fish.

It also depends on what the random fishes are.

Depends on your water parameters but rice fish are often kept in ponds in somewhat warmer areas. And also depends on what the other fish are as @Colin_T said

Def agree with Colin. Goldfish get way too big. You can keep them in that size of a pong for a while but eventually they will have to go to a bigger sized tank or pond.

I would say you could do guppies or a smaller fish. Depends on temps imo. I have an outdoor 40 GAL pond and can't really keep anything during the summer due to the heat in Houston. I'm thinking one day of getting a chiller for it but not sure if feasable (if it can keep up with the heat from the sun).
