my girlfriend has a pond, its about 6foot x 5foot, once my convicts have babies im gonne wanna put some of them into her pond, she currently has 6 or 7 medium size gold fish and 1 large gold fish, and one red eared slider tutrle, would the convicts do ok in the pond or no? cause i mean once they start haveing babies what am i going to do with them?

COnvicts are tropical fish.

Unless you live in southern florida where convicts actually live in the wild (introduced not natural) then they will die.

As for what to do with the fry? Good question, i still have 30 i need to get rid of :D

hahaha...whrere do you put them once you take em out of the tank?

They are still in the tank they were born in!

Let see

20 got sucked into my filter and were injured so i fed em to a betta
35 were given away to people off internet
10 died naturally in my care (at least that's how many bodies i found)

I GAVE the 3" parents away

stil got 20-30 to give away. You want em? They are barely 3/4" long and i'm noticing the males starting to pick little plants and chase off any other males that come near. They are not even mature yet and they already are starting to develip incestious ways

shoot, anyone who wants baby convicts let me know, cause im sure my convict couple will have a batch sooner or later, the female is hideing alot not sure if thats a sign of breeding season or not?

shes been hideing in the little house on the right side, the male finnally stopped being a dickhead (sorry for language) and stopped pushing her out lol.

And shes been getting green top fins, they werent green when i got her....does this mean shes getting ready to lay eggs?

You're from the usa probably?
Is there anyone closer to Belgium that can miss convicts? babies or adults, anything?
They sell them at one lfs here, but they don't look so healthy, so I'm not going to buy any of them.
Is it normal that they are blue with black, instead of white and black?

They are my favourite kind of fish, I hate it that I can't get some... :(

when it's hot outside yes, when it's cold, no
